An audio book is a book that you can listen instead of reading. This is a record of the words spoken by one person instead of music or songs sung by someone. It may be a recorded version of a book or a print of this program.

There are mainly two categories of audio books, full and abbreviated.
A word to word reading a book called an audio book in full and if the original content is modified, it is called short. The abridged is the person who edits the content. Digests are necessary to maintain the time and reduce cost.
Audio books can be created by artists trained vocal recordings. Text to speech software can also be use if necessary, but in such cases, the sound quality may not be on the mark.
Audio books are more expensive compared to the hardcover editions as a recording on a CD is expensive. Preloaded digital formats are also available, where content is loaded simple audio player, similar in price CDs. Downloadable audio books on hand cost less other because they have no storage, packaging or transportation costs.
Due to the costs production, audio books have not become as popular as its counterparts in hardcover or paperback, in spite of music CDs and cassettes are very popular.
