What's a good traditional drum brand or site?
I'm looking for a traditional African drum, specifically a djembe to get myself for casual/beginner play. It would mostly be used in a drum-circle type setting, and I'm on a bit of a budget. I've seen the Sageman drums but I think they are a little pricey, unless they are outstandingly better quality than other drums. Any input on good sites/brands would be really appreciated. Thanks!
Key tuned or rope tuned? If you want a key tuned, probably better for a beginner, then the Remo starts at about $150. Just look through these and see what appeals to you and your budget.
